Pecans: Nuts.......

.......or not?

Bro specializes in Vegetarian Cuisine. He has a wide variety of Vegetarian Entrees that he offers for catered events. One item that is EXTREMELY popular is the Pecan Ball. This is a vegetarian alternative to the "Meat"ball. These Pecan Balls are served with an Apricot BBQ Sauce on the side. I will attest to the fact that these are VERY good.

Cut to this past weekend.

Bro had a VEGETARIAN catering. Apparantly the menu was arranged by the womans mother. ( Lesson #1. Arrange your OWN menu to assure that you know WHAT the ordered food items are made out of. ) When Bro showed up with the complete menu and handed the woman the bill, she began to go over it and was quite disturbed by the FACT that the Pecan Balls had NUTS in them.

Okay lady; What part of Pecan do you NOT understand?

After discussing the contents of the Pecan Balls and getting nowhere with this apparantly CRAZY woman, Bro offered to refund her monies. She took him up on his offer but was shocked to realize that upon receiving her refund, Bro began to pack up the food and remove it from the site. ( Lesson # 2. You don't get it for FREE, lady, If you eat it, you pay for it! )

Bro and I are getting a lot of laughter mileage out of this. Just saying the words "Pecan" or "Nuts" will send us both into fits.
