Sick......

.....and tired.

Yup, shopgirl caught The Boy's sickness. I started sneezing my brains out about 12 hours after he got sick and it has pretty much gone downhill from there. I am out of work for the rest of the week, cuz ya just don't want this kinda stuff around the food prep. I am just hanging out, coughing, sneezing, sleeping and drinking. (juice, pepsi and tea, not the heavy stuff) I am also still taking the Airborne, in hopes that it has something in it to make this whole ordeal less ugly. So far, I am not convinced that it is doing anything worthwhile. I have taken to drinking it in Hot water rather than cold as I find that more soothing on my sore throat.

I had some good finds yesterday morning when I was out picking up provisions. How come NO ONE told me that Ben and Jerrys comes in a single serving size? This is a great size around my house, since Ice Cream tends to stay in my freezer so long that it gets freezer-fur. My friends could never understand the extraordinary circumstances that allows Ice Cream to remain in my freezer for so long.


The other good find is also pictured above and came in handy for size comparison. I love Burts Bees Lip Balm. They now make it with Honey, which is pictured above. Apparantly The Boy's Cat loves the Burts Bees as well because I keep one on my sidetable and the Burts Bees tends to mysteriously dissappear and is then found days later in odd places. He steals it off the table and bats it around my room. I still have one AWOL today due to that little swiper. He's way too cute, but he needs to leave my Burt's Bees alone!

Shopgirls advice for today is to stay away from sick people. You do NOT want to catch whatever the hell this flu is. Its NOT a fun way to get time off from work.
