Gingershops and Stocking Mitts........
.....or thats what we call them in the shop.
The decorations in the shop are going up a bit at a time and its really starting to feel "Christmasy". In the front window today, we put this:
Isn't it cute? It is complete with stained glass windows and doors, a snowy roof and gingerbread trees.
This afternoon I left work early due to the fact that The Boy has come down with yet another cold. SIGH! At least he gets sick AFTER I get finished with school lunch and the day before I don't even have school lunch. If need be, I can stay home with him tomorrow. Gonna monitor his temp and go from there this evening. I am going to drink copious amounts of AIRBORNE as well as up my VITAMIN C consumption. I do NOT want to get sick! SIGH!
Since I left early, I didn't get to finish what I had planned to do in the shop, so I brought work home. Rather than put up stockings for the people we work with and for in the shop, it was my brilliant idea to put up Oven Mitts instead. That of course, required a long search but once found, we decided to put names on them all. I added the names with various colours of glitter glue. I now am decorated with glitter here and there as well, which is just a little something extra for my efforts. *giggle*
The following photo is my "homework" from tonight.

Well, since you added something to the one para... I have to add something here...
Suffice it to say, you glitter all the time, glitter glue or not! ... that just adds a bit more sparkle! Just like a star, I'm guessing ;)

That is NOT a "little" gingershop. It stands pretty tall, perhaps more than a foot in height. We are going to bake and assemble "little" gingershops as well for sale though, later this week.
LMAO re: briefcase full of cookie dough.
TY. The Boy will live, but is of course brewing a low-grade fever. SIGH!

p.s. is it just me, or the more times one comments the more complicated the word verification gets?
