The Honda, the Tree.......

.....and the hitchhiker.

The Boy and I picked up our Christmas Tree on Friday afternoon. We shoved an 8 ft. tree into my Honda Accord.

The Tree: Looking from the front to the back of the car.

That in and of itself is a feat. For The Boy its nothing more than a challenge. While putting it into the car we found a little harmless bug on the seat. We figured that the bug would fly out long before we shut the car all up and gave it no more thought.

The tree was brought home and set up. We haven't had the energy to do much more than put the lights and the Angel on the top. In 3 days we have added a whopping 3 ornaments. At this rate, its never gonna get fully decorated.

After the set up was finished on Friday and shopgirl was cleaning up around the tree, I notice something on the curtains behind the tree and head over to investigate.

This is what I found just hanging out on the curtains:

blondie

That is the same little harmless bug that was on the seat in the car. I guess it went into the tree and took a ride down to the desert where it is much warmer than it is at the Christmas Tree Farm. I can't say that I blame the poor thing. We named the ladybug "Blondie" and took it outside and put it in the rose garden on our favorite rose bush.

It appears that The Boy and I are going to live inspite of our sickness over the past week. Thankfully we are both feeling a bit better and will attempt to head into the new week with as much energy as we can manage. The Boy only has this week to get through and then he is on Christmas break. Lucky Boy!

Scoop ya later,

    Cool tree!

Didn't you know that was the Spotted Blondieos? Highly poisonous bite, y'know? ...

Nice tree, tho, wish I had room for one that big, but then again, I don't have decorations for one that big, either, so there is that....

Ty. We love the big trees. Only reason its not bigger is cuz I no longer own a truck. Next year is a different story I hope.
