DAY OFF.....

.....or shouldn't I feel more rested?

Shopgirl took the day off to handle getting her car serviced and smog tested as well as run some errands and deal with the jungle that has become her front yard.

My day started at the same time it normally does and inspite of taking the day off I had the house picked up and had started a load of laundry before I took the kid to school. Once I had dropped the kid, I decided I had plenty of time to hit Starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is my all time favorite Fall drink of choice. The Starbucks that was closest is also the slowest and for whatever reasons, they can NOT seem to get a drink right. Makes ya wonder just WHO is watching the store, cuz I am not convinced that a manager is. I have never gone there and actually gotten my drink as I ordered it in a reasonable amount of time. 15 minutes later, (and when I went in, I was only 1 of 3 people ordering) I am finally heading out the door after having my latte made a second time with the correct milk this time around. I still managed to get to the mechanic's in plenty of time and my car was taken care of without any problems.

All that I wanted to accomplish today was accomplished so shopgirl is happy. Shopgirl is especially happy because the UPS man showed up at her door with this:



Isn't it just the cutest? It is STILL all about the shoe. I love this shoe and can not wait to use it.
