Router Or Bust.........
....... or is it Busted Router? Either way, I am down to 1 computer tonight and I am not amused. Luckily the boy has homework to finish so I am getting a few minutes on "his" computer. (maybe I will help him out and change his background! ) Punjab, when I spoke to him two days ago, should have said "your router is crap, go buy new one". But NOOO! Sigh! I will be re-routered (is that even a word?) by tomorrow evening.
Todays "scoop" was tostado bowls or nachos. The kids have lots of decisions to make. Tostados or nachos to begin with. When the choice is tostado, then the decisions become more complex for a kid. Cheese? Lettuce? Tomato? Sour Cream? Salsa? Oh, sorry, we forgot the salsa. (giggle!) The rest of the menu consisted of peach cobbler, carrots/celery and orange slices, along with the previously mentioned choices of Juice Box. Berry Berry is still the most popular juice choice.
Inbetween serving the different grade levels, I often wander around the lunch tables and "network" with the kids. Today I sat with Alex, Yasmin, Aaron and Cameron. They are all buddies of mine from Summer School Cooking Class. They are all very cute 4th graders. Tomorrow I hope to sit for a few with another table and get to know more of the kids. They are all so delightful.
As an aside - The possessed oven is behaving itself for now. Stay tuned, as this could change at any moment.
