The Scoop Goes On and On and On.....
....and on and on!
So what was Shopgirl scooping? Cookie dough. Lots and Lots of cookie dough! Double batches of Sugar Cookie, Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip with Pecans cookie dough. I scooped over 500 individual scoops of cookie dough today. I should be crowned Scoop Queen of the Day. Maybe I will wear my Tiara in to the shop tomorrow. ~ giggle ~
Working in a shop with my brother is a lot of fun. Daddy works there as well 3 days a week. It makes for some hysterical goings on. Last week, Bro and I were in a mood (ok, we are most days, but who's counting?) and we were laughing and joking and teasing and picking on each other. At one point, I decided it was time to tattle on my little Bro, so I said "daddy, he's picking on me". Although Daddy was busy and I was not even sure he was paying attention, he did not even miss a beat with his reply to us. "Do I need to stop this car?" That, of course, caused the entire shop to erupt in hysterical laughter. We are still laughing about it today.
I totally enjoy working in the shop. We have a good time while getting a lot of work done. Working in the shop brings this quote to mind:
The best part of life is when your family becomes your friends ~ D Whitfield.
I do so enjoy working with my friends.
Scoop ya later,
