The Wolf And The Vulcan......

....... For Decoration Only!

On the way to work/school early this morning The Boy asks me if we ever use The Wolf or The Vulcan ovens anymore. I had to tell him that since we brought the Double-Stack Convection Oven into the shop we just do not use the other ovens. I suggested that perhaps they were there merely to keep the cooktops at a nice cooking height and for Decoration Only! He thought this was pretty funny.

The Convection Ovens are the BEST ovens in the world. We honestly can not fill the baking sheets fast enough to keep a constant flow of baking going. It takes us longer to fill a quartet of full size sheet pans than it does to actually bake what has gone onto them. Sugar Cookies for example. Each sheet pan will have 7 rows by 5 rows. 10 minutes to load them up and put them into the oven for a mere 4 (FOUR) minute tour of the oven. SIGH!

On a humorous note, as I headed into the shower tonight, the showerhead caught my eye. The Boy had set it to spray OUT the door and soak his poor, tired mom. THAT Boy had best beware. I am "taking it to the mattresses"! giggle! He will be surprised to find a horse head in his bed tonight. (do NOT fear, its not a real horse head. It's a toy horse head on a stick.) Gotta love that Boy! He and I have way too much fun!
