ESPRESSO.....

.....just our little way of free-basing coffee!


We have a new contract at the shop which has added quite a bit to our workload. By 1000 hours every morning we must have both 100+ School Lunches prepped and ready to go, as well as 45-50 Meals On Wheels Lunches.

Meals On Wheels is our new contract. We are very happy to have this. It gives us a chance to make sure that people who very much need a quality hot meal once a day are getting just that. We are having a good time with the new contract, but it is a LOT of work.

There really isn't much downtime at the shop any longer as we are either prepping the meals for the day or beginning the prep for the meals tomorrow. SIGH!

Bro and I are tired. We hit a lull about 0900 hours and we are looking wildly around for some caffeine. Today I decided to go out in search of the Chocolate Covered ESPRESSO Beans, which I know are lurking somewhere in the shop cuz we had some last week. I find them and bring a couple to Bro. He and I laugh and each eat a handful. At this point, Rog, Dad and Mom are rolling their eyes. Bro and I look at each other and laugh and then I say, while holding my coffee cup, and how about a nice Coffee Chaser for those Espresso Beans. Bro grabs his coffee cup and heads my way and once everyones eyes are upon us (cuz we totally want all the attention at all times) we touch our coffee cups together while laughing and saying "cheers"!

We like to keep those people laughing and on their toes. Today we did just that!


When shopgirl finally makes it home, she is BEAT! GAH! I usually fix The Boy dinner and then go grab a shower. Tonight was no different. Well, until I went to turn on the shower. I am SO tired that I can tell that something just isn't right, but it takes me a minute to figure out that while the water is on, getting hot, as I had intended, it is actually shooting OUT the shower door and soaking the bathroom.

LMAO! The Boy set me UP! WTF? I call him and say "Dude, you TOTALLY win this round, but you have got to clean up that mess cuz I am just way too tired to deal with it".
He wins the round because we do have a contest of sorts where we attempt to trick the other person and setting the shower to spray outside of the shower is our number one trick.

THAT Boy had best beware, cuz someday I will NOT be this tired and hes gonna get payback! LOL! Gotta love that Boy!
