Ketchup or Catsup?
I prefer the spelling "Ketchup" and only use Heinz Ketchup.
For as long as I can remember the spelling "catsup" always made me giggle and think of "cat-soup", which, btw is not going to be good on any hamburger, hot dog or french fries.
If you hit the side of the bottle on the little embossed "57" the ketchup will flow out much easier rather than causing you to wait.
And wait.
And wait.
~ so how about you: Catsup or Ketchup?

The word ketchup is derived from the Chinese ke-tsiap, a pickled fish sauce. I mean if the word started from Chinese with ke who are we to believe? Should we believe Hunt's who makes catsup? Should we believe Heinz who makes ketchup. Well, for my grocery dollar, I go with the superior product with the superior spelling. KETCHUP. I mean we are not talking about a fungible product such as premium gasoline. When you sip 93 octane, can you tell the difference between Shell and Exxon? NO! When putting condiments on a hamburger, can you tell the difference between Heinz ketchup and Hunt's catsup? Absol-****ing-lutely.
The creature and the shopgirl understand reality. End of story.
