Girls Night In:

Jen and I both found ourselves in two separate but equally quiet empty homes Thursday evening and spent most of it chattering on the phone, or is that "phones" due to the fact that my house phone battery died and I had to switch to my cell. Now THAT is some Major phone chattering, dontcha think? *giggle*

While we are talking, about boys and how much we hate them Jen says "are you wearing your Tiara?" I responded that I was not and ask why as it seemed to be a random question. She proceeds to tell me that she is and that I should go and get mine, which I did. Shes got a good point there. Wearing that Tiara makes everything better!

We continue to chatter and she tells me that she is finally going to make the Peanut Butter Bread that she had told me about earlier in the week. At 2230 hours, she is going to go bake. LOL! Well,as we discuss the PBB while she preps for it I find that I am now inspired to go make some as well. My daughter is a Night Owl and she has now managed, at least for this night, to turn me into one as well!

So here we are, approx. 330 miles away, wearing Tiaras and baking PBB together and having a blast! She kept me company, I kept her company and we just hung out. It was fun. I think we will do that again, with a different recipe and next time should definately include a pitcher of Mojitos or even just an Absolut Vanilla Pepsi for both of us.

The PBB breads came out wonderfully. Yummy! I highly recommend this recipe if you are looking for a different snack bread or morning toast w/ jelly! Jen and I added chocolate chips, because if something is good, chocolate chips will make it better!

* Girlie, I can't wait until you people are done with your schooling and you can move closer so that we can spend more time together in person. Until then, I hope you had as much fun as I did. Love ya. Mean it!

~ Tiaras. Because they make us happy!
